Independent Ambulance Compliance Committee

Review Ambulance Service Provider Agreement compliance and performance. Consider and resolve disputes or grievances concerning the Contractors performance or quality of patient care matters which may arise during the term of the agreement. Approve the assessment of liquidated damages against the contractor of infractions and/or failure to meet the standards set forth in the Agreement. Make recommendations to the County, Tulare County Department of Health, and the local EMS Agency regarding adjustments and/or modifications of the terms and conditions of the Agreement which govern Contractor's delivery of ambulance service. Receive regularly scheduled reports regarding the Contractor's performance under the terms and conditions of the Agreement. To periodically submit reports to the Tulare County Board of Supervisors regarding its observations and recommendations of the Contractor's performance in Tulare County. To advise the Tulare County Board of Supervisors, the Tulare County Department of Health, and local EMS Agency on all matters relating to the Provider Agency Agreement performance. The Committee's recommendations provided to the Tulare County Board of Supervisors, the Tulare County Department of Health and the local EMS Agency shall be non-binding.
