Duties: Set policy for operation of the Association, considers applications for disability retirement, and controls the investments of assets and authorizes all disbursement of Association funds.
Three-Year Terms - 9 Members Government Code Section 31523
Membership shall consist of the following:
Compensation: Members 4, 5, 6, 8 & 9 shall receive $100.00 per meeting, not to exceed five meetings a month. All members receive mileage. Resolution 2011-0032

• Member 1 – County Treasurer – Ex-officio Member, Tenure – Does not get appointed by Board
• Members 2 & 3 – Members of the County Employee Retirement Association other than Safety Members elected by such members.
• Members 4, 5, 6 & 9 – Electors of County, Appointed by the Board of Supervisors, not connected with County Government, except one may be a supervisor appointed by the Board of Supervisors.
• Member 7 – Safety Member of association elected by Safety Members.
• Member 8 – Retired Member elected by retired members of association.
• Members 2 & 3 – Members of the County Employee Retirement Association other than Safety Members elected by such members.
