Investment Policy: 
In accordance with Government Code Section 27133. the County Treasurer shall annually prepare a County Treasurer's Investment Policy that will be reviewed and monitored by the County Treasury Oversight Committee. 
Audit of Compliance: In accordance with Government Code Section 27134, the Tulare County Treasury Oversight Committee shall cause an annual audit to be be conducted to determine the county treasury's compliance with Article 6 of Chapter 5 of Division 2 of Title 3 of the California Government Code. The audit may include issues relating to the structure of the investment portfolio and risk.

• Membership Details

  7 Members:
  Serve at the Pleasure of the Board, with the exception of the 2 Public Members which serve three (3) year terms (per TOC membership application).
  Pursuant to Government Code Sections 27131 & 27132, individual members are to be nominated by the County Treasurer and confirmed by the Board of Supervisors from the following categories:
  The Auditor-Controller
  A representative appointed by the Board of Supervisors
  The County Superintendent of Schools or his designee
  A representative selected by a majority of the presiding officers of the governing bodies of the school districts and community college districts in the County
  A representative selected by a majority of the presiding officers of the legislative bodies of the special districts in the County that are required or authorized to deposit funds in the County Treasury
  2 Members of the Public, with expertise in, or an academic background in, public finance. (3 year terms per application)
