Museum Board

Duties:
•    Promotion of the objectives and purposes of the Museum.
•    Acquisition, exhibition and utilization of objects and exhibits.
•    Expenditure of funds appropriated by the County for operation and development of the Museum.
•    Cause an annual budget to be prepared and submitted for the operation and development of the Museum.
•    Duties, administration and supervision of persons employed by the County to operate and maintain the Museum.
•    Advise and assist the Curator and other persons employed by the County to operate and maintain the Museum.
•    Exercise all other powers authorized by Section 5120 e. seq. of the Public Resources Code as directed by the Board of Supervisors.

Vacancies:
•    The occurrence of any events specified in Government Code Section 1770.
•    A member fails to attend three consecutive regular meetings without good cause entered in the minutes and approved by the Museum Board.
