Important: Register using the same phone number you will use to call in — this is strongly recommended. Registration for an item remains open until the Board Chair closes public comment on that item; once comment is closed, no further registrations for that item will be accepted. If you register during the meeting, or call in from a number different from the one you registered with, you may experience delays and could miss your chance to comment before your item is heard.
 

How to Request to Speak

1. Scroll to the meeting you wish to participate in, below.
2. Click Register.
3. Enter your first and last name and the phone number you will use to call in.
4. Select the agenda item(s) you want to comment on, and indicate whether you are in favor, in opposition, or neutral.
5. Click Register. If you provided an email address, you will receive an email confirmation.

On the Day of the Meeting

1. At the start of the meeting, call (559) 205-9143.
2. Remain on the line after joining and listen until your name is called. No phone prompts or further action is required while you wait.
3. When the Board Chair calls your item, mute any other devices you have open to the meeting to avoid feedback.
4. When it is your turn, you will hear a prompt informing you that you have been unmuted. State your name, then give your comment.
5. When your time is finished, you will be muted. If you registered to speak on another item, stay on the line; otherwise, you may continue listening by phone or hang up.
